Associate Director, Integration Engineer
Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.
Role Overview:
Associate Director, Integration Engineer
As the Associate Director of Integration Engineering, reporting to the Senior Director of Data and Analytics, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of real-time integrations to support business growth and innovation. This role focuses on managing and optimizing integrations across critical business applications, including Veeva CRM, NetSuite, Coupa, Workday, Concur, and others, ensuring seamless data connectivity and automated workflows.
Position Responsibilities:
- iPaaS Platform Ownership: Serve as the platform owner, responsible for the management and administration of the integration platform while designing and developing workflows using SnapLogic
- Enterprise System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of enterprise applications, including Veeva CRM, NetSuite, Coupa, Workday, Concur, Salesforce, and SAP, to enable efficient data flow.
- Business Process Automation: Provide architectural expertise in automating business processes for Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), and Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC), Medical Affairs by collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
- Integration Strategy and Implementation: Develop and execute real-time and batch integration processes to improve business operations and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Platform Management and Optimization: Administer and enhance SnapLogic pipelines, resolve issues, and oversee platform maintenance, including version upgrades.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify integration requirements and deliver scalable, effective solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all integration workflows adhere to regulatory and security standards (e.g., GDPR, GxP) while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including system admins, business partners, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient integration solutions. Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on best practices and emerging technologies.
- Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in enterprise integrations and data engineering and apply them to solve complex business problems and drive innovation. Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and methodologies for analytics engineering within the organization.
- Bachelor’s, master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration, with 6+ years of hands-on iPaaS experience (SnapLogic preferred).
- Proven track record integrating systems like Veeva CRM, NetSuite, Coupa, Workday, Concur, Salesforce, and SAP.
- Strong understanding of APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and data formats (JSON, XML).
- Expertise in SnapLogic pipeline design and scripting (Python, JavaScript).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Demonstrated experience serving as an architect for business process automation projects in Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), ERP implementations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- SnapLogic Certified Professional or certifications in related iPaaS and SaaS platforms.
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands.
