Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics
Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.
Role Overview:
Sr. Manager of Marketing Analytics
The Sr. Manager of Marketing Analytics will be responsible for leading the analysis and measurement of both Health Care Professional (HCP) and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) marketing strategies and will report into the Directory of Analytics. This role is critical to driving data-driven decision-making for optimizing promotional performance and campaign effectiveness across various channels. The candidate will work closely with internal marketing teams and external vendors to develop, implement, and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for non-personal and personal promotional tactics. The senior manager will also collaborate with the HCP and Consumer marketing teams to ensure alignment between DTC and HCP campaigns, identifying opportunities to optimize pull-through and improve overall brand performance.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact and SME for the marketing team regarding all dashboards and analytics associated with their campaign and tactics
- Develop and/or advise metrics development for non-personal HCP promotion and direct-to-consumer promotional efforts
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and HCP/patient behaviors to inform the marketing team of the latest market dynamics
- Lead key projects that support marketing campaign measurement (e.g., marketing mix, test and control, etc.) and inform tactic adjustment
- Identify opportunities to improve ROI or effectiveness of tactics through by becoming a subject matter expert on rationale and research that drives the brand strategy
- Partner with vendors to ensure accurate data collection and reporting for promotional tactics, providing guidance on KPIs and measurement frameworks
- Support the Director of Analytics in developing Madrigal’s long-term analytics vision, including ML and orchestration capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on HCP and/or DTC strategies in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in analyzing and advising on tactic optimization
- Experience in working with large datasets, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools to derive insights from complex marketing data
- Demonstrated ability to partner with key stakeholders and vendors to manage performance tracking and reporting of marketing campaigns
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, brand strategy, and sales teams
- Advanced proficiency with analytics tools such as SQL and/or Python
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to create reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms like Veeva, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Analytics.
- Experience working with media mix models, multichannel attribution models, and A/B testing frameworks, and orchestration capability development
- Knowledge of CRM systems and customer data platforms (CDPs) to assess marketing campaign performance.
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands.
