Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.

Director Team Lead, Field Operations
Our Commercial Planning & Operations team works cross-functionally within our Commercial organization and across Madrigal to drive and enable the growth of our Rezdiffra business. We lead critical, cross-functional efforts in support of our field-based teams, deliver objective analysis and insights, incubate new initiatives, and execute strategic initiatives.
The Team Lead, Field Operations will use their industry experience to build consensus with various cross-functional stakeholders and apply a strategic lens to all Incentive Compensation and Field Operations topics.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee Madrigal’s Incentive Compensation practice including overall IC Strategy, Design, and Administration
- Align Field Operations deliverables, tools, and processes with evolving business needs and ensure seamless execution
- Work with cross-functional partners to optimize our quarterly call plan & alignment management processes
- Design and deliver dashboards to field-based teams to monitor and improve commercial performance
- Lead field operations related training and communication initiatives to ensure effective adoption
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in a commercial role (client-side or consulting)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into cohesive ideas and actionable solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership and diverse audiences
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Proven experience with CRM systems (e.g., Veeva or Salesforce)
- Experience leading an Incentive Compensation team is a plus
- Experience working on Specialty, Rare Disease, or Oncology brands preferred
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
